- Yes. Speak and score records the Mandarin line you meant, transcribes what you said, and scores that against the line. It marks the tone that slipped. The recording is not saved. That is separate from a street, where Record only checks length.
- What stays free?
- Street 0 (the night market), every guide, the Chinese name card, and the culture pages. A name card is not part of the paid plan.
- What does the 7-day trial open?
- Streets 1 to 5: restaurant, getting around, the market, the hotel, and SOS. The trial does not charge PayPal and does not become a paid plan. On day 7 those streets lock again.
- What am I paying for?
- After the 7-day trial, streets 1–5 lock again unless you choose a plan later. The trial itself never charges PayPal and does not become a paid plan. Plan prices stay on /pricing when billing is open.
